The annual World Press Photo performance is held in 100 cities in 45 different countries, including The Netherlands, Canada, Tokyo, Singapore and Mexico. In these exhibitions the prize-winning photos are shown with descriptions in more than 20 different languages.
For World Press Photo we built a Content Management System that makes the input and translation of the descriptions of the photos intuitive and very easy. In addition, these descriptive panels can then be exported in a PDF format that is easy to print for the printer. Because some panels are bilingual, it is of course possible to choose where each language text ends up on the panels.
